Robert Cray is celebrating 40 years of playing the blues. Cray found the blues via his parents’ record collection, which included musicians like Ray Charles, John Lee Hooker, Sam Cooke, Jackie Wilson and Howlin’ Wolf. His sound and style has evolved with time and experience. When he’s not making music, he’s making dinner. Cray said that one of his favorite hobbies is cooking.
