Taj Mahal
Taj Mahal a multi-instrumentalist who revolutionized blues music by a unique reference to the rhythms of Hawaiian, Jamaican, South African, and even conventions characteristic of gospel music.
In 1968 he released his first album, simply titled “Taj Mahal”. It was a very big success, and the musician decided to release another album – “The Natch’ Blues.”
Taj Mahal in his career twice won the Grammy for best album of blues – the first in 1997 for “Señor Blues,” and the second in 2000 for “Shoutin ‘In Key”.
