Susan Tedeschi
She born November 9, 1970, in Boston, Massachusetts. Susan was graduated from Berklee College of Music. Professional musical activity began in 1991, founding a trio with Adrienne Hayes in Cambridge.
She opened concerts for B.B. King, Buddy Guy, and Bob Dylan.
In 2001, she married guitarist Derek Trucks (Classified in 16th place list of 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time magazine Rolling Stone 2011). They formed the Tedeschi Trucks Band in 2010.
In late 2009 after announcing a hiatus from the Derek Trucks Band and Susan Tedeschi Band, the couple began composing new material, working in their Jacksonville home studio with musicians who were close friends. Their first concert took place on April 1, 2010, at the Savannah Music Festival and afterward the group played at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival, the Fuji Rock Festival and other festivals and concerts.
Six times nominated for a Grammy (in 2000, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2012). She won her, with band Tedeschi Trucks Band, in 2012, for best blues album “Revelator”
