A non-slide version of the great blues classic of unknown origin! I attribute it to Robert Johnson, but that’s only because his version is the earliest I know. Lots of people have covered this as a slide song because of Elmore James’ classic version, but a significant number of bands, including ZZ Top, do versions without slide.
