    Gov’t Mule

    It all started in 1994.  Warren Haynes (guitar, vocals) and Allen Woody (bass), who had been playing in the new incarnation of the legendary Allman Brothers Band for five years. Decided to start a new music project. Together with Matt Abbs (drums), they formed Gov’t Mule.


    The band’s inspiration is, of course, the activity of the Allman Brothers Band. They combined it with the psychedelic, blues-rock sound of the Cream trio. The band’s phonographic debut is an album simply titled “Gov’t Mule” from 1995. Then the band released live recordings showing the full potential of the musicians’ improvisations under the title “Live at Roseland Ballroom”.


    The studio came back in 1998 with the album “Dose”, which included such hits as “Blind Man in the Dark” and “Thorazine Shuffle”. As Gov’t Mule always felt best at concerts, the next release, Live … with a Little Help from Our Friends, documented another successful performance by the group. The next album is “Life Before Insanity” from the beginning of 2000.

    On August 26 of the same year, the band was struck by a real tragedy. Bassist Allen Woody was found dead in a hotel room in New York. The other two decided to continue their activities. They prepare the next release together with many different bass players. Such as Flea and Bootsy Collins. This is how the double album “Deep End” was created. The concert version of the project was documented by the publishing house “Deepest End: Live in Concert” in 2003.

    A year later, the band recorded their first album with Woody’s successor, Andy Hess. Keyboard player Danny Louis has also joined the group. With the new line-up, the band recorded another album, released in 2006, entitled “High & Mighty“

    Grace Potter is a talented musician and songwriter. She started her musical career in 2002 when she established Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. She debuted as a solo artist in 2004 when she released the Original Soul record. Potter has released other solo albums that include Midnight, released in 2015 and Daylight which debuted in 2019.

    Grace Potter is a talented musician and songwriter. She started her musical career in 2002 when she established Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.     Since she founded the Grace Potter and Nocturnals, she has enjoyed a glittering career as an actress, multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. Her work has attracted a lot of fame in the music and film industry making her a global celebrity. She collaborated with Higher Ground in 2011 to establish the Grand Point North music festival that promotes local businesses and artists.


    Potter’s success in the blues guitar music industry has contributed to effective working relationships and collaboration with the famous country music icon Kenny Chesney. Their collaboration has conquered the country music charts contributing to numerous critical acclaim. Their duet for “You and Tequila” performance with Chesney helped Potter earn a Grammy Award nomination for Country Group Performance. Potter and Chesney have performed numerous live shows together, and their collaborations, such as “Wild Child”, have continued to receive nominations for various awards such as the Country Music Association, CMT and Academy of Country Music.


    She has also worked with The Flaming Lips to record “Mechanical Friend”. In addition, she worked with The Beatles and contributed to the recording of their With a Little Help from My Friends.
    Potter has appeared in several films and television shows, such as One Tree Hill, the Disney’s Prep $ Landing: Naughty vs Nice. She made appearances on The Chew show in 2012 and 2015. She has also performed on Conan on TBS.
    Potter’s famous solo albums include the Midnight, which was released in 2015, and Daylight which was released in 2019

    Led Zeppelin

Thanks to the guitar sound, she is referred to as one of the first heavy metal bands, although her style is difficult to qualify for only one genre; in their work, you can hear inspirations drawn from blues, folk, Celtic, Indian and Arabic music, through reggae, soul, funk and classical music, as well as from country. The characteristic voice of the singer is considered by many to be the best in rock history.
