Bonnie Raitt
American rock singer and guitarist Bonnie Raitt was born in 1949. She debuted at the end of the 1960s singing folk-rock with strong blues influences. Rait was a phenomenon on the male-dominated blues-rock scene. She managed to break the star status on the male-dominated stage.
It gained its most significant popularity in the 70s. In the next decade, it was only the album “Nick of Time” (1989) that brought it again to the top of the chart. Her repertoire changed to more pop.
Bonnie has released 17 albums, and her biggest hits include: “Something to Talk About,” “Not The Only Ony,” “Have a Heart,” “I Can’t Make You Love Me.” From the year 2000, Bonnie Raitt is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
